I know it is getting cold outside, but thought seeing these beach pictures might warm you all up!  Late this summer, I had the pleasure of heading to St. Joseph, MI to spend the weekend with some great friends and take their family pictures.  They have been wanting to get pictures at the lake for years, and we finally made it happen!  We headed to the beach early Sat morning (and yes, getting 6 boys up and out of the house early can be challenging!) but we made it and beat the rain that came later in the day.  We started by the water, and then headed into the grassy beach areas.  I love love love how close these siblings are and how great the two families get along.  It was such a fun day for me and for my own family spending time at the lake with them.

After the beach pictures, we headed back to their townhome that they share with their Dad and were able to get pictures of all of them together.  Words can’t convey how special this was, as sadly, their Dad/Grandpa, passed away only a month after these pictures were taken.  I am so happy we were able to get the shots at the end of all of them together, at a place that is so special for them and holds so many memories over the years.  Thank you for allowing me in for a glimpse of the wonderful times you have shared in MI and being a part of capturing these memories together this summer.
