Kirsten – Class of 2019 {Aurora, Naperville, Downers Grove Senior Photographer}

Meet the lovely Kirsten, who is nearing the end of her senior year. I really can’t believe it, as I met her when she was only a baby!! Boy does time fly. But here she is, all grown up into a beautiful young woman, about to graduate in a couple of months and start such an exciting time in her life. We had a great session together to capture this big year for her. Thank you Kirsten for a great day and I wish you all the best in the college years ahead!

It is always such a pleasure to see this lovely family. I first met them doing this little cuties newborn photos, and now get to see them annually for their family portraits. I think from the pictures it is pretty obvious that Kayla is a happy girl!! She is so fun, playful, giggly and intuitive, and just a joy to photograph! Jay – Class of 2019! {Downers Grove, Hinsdale High School Senior Photographer}

I love photographing seniors – they are fun, independent, and excited about the year ahead, getting ready for college, prom, etc. This handsome guy was no different! He was totally at ease in front of the camera, able to go from a natural smile to a serious look with no problem! Senior guys aren’t usually as excited as the girls (I have often heard “I am only here because my mom made me do this”!!) but Jay was very comfortable for his senior portrait session. We walked around downtown Downers Grove for part of the session, and then finished at one of the parks Jay has grown up going to as a kid. I love the variety of looks and images we were able to capture. Thank you Jay for a great session and enjoy the remainder of your senior year and the exciting times ahead!

Fall Session with the J Family {Downers Grove Photographer, Hinsdale Photography}

With all the snow we have been having lately, I thought it would be a nice change to see some beautiful fall colors instead of the white stuff! And I am in some major need of catching up on my blogging, so no time like the present! Meet the J Family, who I had the pleasure of photographing this past October. We went to one of my favorite spots that has such a great variety for backdrops – red door, wildflowers, wooded paths and water.

I loved the styling of this family – they really pulled their outfits and colors together nicely for the session. Clothing colors can really enhance your session, and I am always happy to discuss clothing options (and share my Pinterest page on Clothing Inspiration). Thank you J Family for a great session – you guys were wonderful to work with and such a fun group to be around! Lots of love, smiles and laughter!
