• What is your pricing?

You can find my session fee pricing under the DETAILS tab. The session fee covers my time and creative talent, as well as the full editing of your images. It does not include any prints or products. For full pricing on prints, wall art, products and digital files, please use the CONTACT tab at the top right of my website.

• Do you have a studio?

I do have a studio out of my home in Downers Grove, where I do my newborn sessions, small families, kids and headshot sessions. I use studio lighting, but can also do natural light. I also meet with clients for consultations and in-person sales appointments at my studio.

• Where do you do your outdoor sessions?

I do my outdoor sessions at a variety of locations in the area. I have some favorite parks and nature preserves that I use. Many areas require a photography permit - I will only take my clients to areas that I have a permit to use. I also use local downtown areas and other spots for a more urban look if that is what my clients are looking for with their session. I have also done sessions at my clients homes/backyards if lighting is appropriate. I will work with you on finding just the right location for your session!

• What is the process to book a session?

You can contact me through the CONTACT tab on my website. I will reply with session info and can meet for a consultation to see if we may be a good fit. Once you decide you would like to go forward with a session, we will select a session date/time and I will send you an invoice and contract to reserve your date. Prior to the session, we will have a pre-session consult (via email, in-person or telephone) to discuss the details of your session, location, clothing guidance and any other questions you may have.

• What happens after the session? When will my images be ready?

After your session, I will be in touch to schedule your in-person ordering appointment at my studio to view your images and make your purchase selections at that time. This appointment will be approximately 2 weeks after your session. Prior to the appointment, I will send you info on preparing for our meeting to help make the process as smooth and easy as I can for you! Orders placed take about 2-3 weeks depending on the products ordered and can be picked up at my studio.

• Do I have to place my order at the in-person ordering appointment?

Yes, the ordering/viewing appointment is when you will place your order. Please bring everyone that will have a say in the decision making to the appointment.

• Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Gift certificates for Amy Goray Photography can be purchased for any denomination.

• Do you retouch blemishes?

Yes, all images for your viewing gallery are hand edited. Blemishes, skinned knees, acne, etc, as well as the overall image for color and lighting are edited so that your finished images are beautiful works of art ready for your home!

• What if it rains on our session day or someone is sick?

If weather just doesn't cooperate with us, or someone is sick, we will reschedule the session as soon as possible.

• Can I take pictures at our session?

No, I ask that you please do not take any cell phone pictures during our session so we can concentrate on creating the beautiful images of you and your family that you have hired me to do.

• What should we wear?

The part that stresses everyone out! What to wear?! I will work with you on clothing options and color schemes. I also have a Pinterest page for clothing guidance that I will share with you. Don't be afraid to send me pictures of ideas you have!
